When I initially decided to do this shoot, I thought it was for my husband. He has always said how beautiful and sexy I am but I've never been able to see myself the way he does. I wanted to try and find a way to capture what he see's in me. After talking to Trish I realized this was actually for me! I use to weigh 400 pounds and lost 180 of those pounds. When I look in the mirror, I still see that 400 pound woman looking back at me. Sitting with Ernesto while he glammed me up, I felt wonderful until it got closer and closer to the time to start the shoot. I started tearing up from the debilitating fear. Trish being Trish was amazing and stopped and reinforced what SHE was seeing. She saw my beauty that I didn't see.
I left feeling for the first time in I don't know how long, that I might be able to get pictures back that I will LOVE and be proud of, in the least amount of clothes and tightness anyone has ever seen me in, in my life!
Let me start by saying I've never done a Boudoir photoshoot or even a photoshoot before. Coming into this experience I was pretty nervous but excited at the same time. Trish and Ernesto were both so sweet. I felt like they were lifelong friends right away. My hair and makeup looked amazing, it couldn't have been any better. During the photoshoot, Trish was very good about giving directions on posing. I was worried I wouldn't know how to pose correctly but she gave me directions step by step.
A week later she had all of my pictures ready to see. I was so impressed how well they turned out. They were better than I could ever of expected. The whole experience was 100% worth it and truly does give you a confidence boost well beyond the day of your photoshoot.

I just returned home from a Boudoir photoshoot with Trish Bruno at Tanga Rae Studios. I didn't know what to expect but I was very excited and a little bit nervous. I have plenty of insecurities and oh boy they were raging in my head on the way to my shoot. Let me tell you...when I sat down, Ernesto started by asking me a few questions about my skin and my makeup routine. With his fun charm and humor AND make me look like a million bucks with what seemed like just a few strokes of his many brushes. He also made my unruly hair look gorgeous, which is a feat as it has a mind of it's own. Next I was turned over to Trish who made me feel like the sexiest woman alive. This woman knows her stuff and poses to best flatter my body. I've wanted to do a photoshoot for a very long time and I felt fortunate that when my turn finally arrived I was able to work with this dynamic duo. I am plus sized and extreamly nervous about how I will look in images. I have never tried on lingerie, and I am really nervous about what looks good on me. Do you provide lingerie? Will you help with this? ?
Absolutely! We have a client closet with over 300 pieces of Lingerie in it! We actually walk you through your desired style and size of Lingerie the day of your session. So regardless if you want something Romantic or Spicy, we got you! We help you pick out accessories, harnesses, lace, robes and even angel wings made with ostrich feathers to wear during you're session! 90% of our clients are XL-3XL. So, just know you are in the best hands.
We have a fabulous hair and makeup artist that works with me on every shoot. Hair, makeup and lashes are included in this service If you choose this add on.
Ernesto Robledo is an award winning make-up artist, designer and beauty photographer. He has over 14 years of experience in the industry. He will for sure make you look your best!!!
